Individual Tax Returns Due for Tax Year
If you aren’t filing an extension, your individual tax returns must be e-filed or postmarked by midnight.

If you need more time to prepare your tax return, you can file your request for a tax extension and extend your tax deadline back to October 15.

1st Quarter Estimated Tax Payment Due
Folks who are self-employed and/or have other first-quarter income that requires a quarterly estimated tax payment, need to make sure their payment is postmarked by the April 15 tax deadline to avoid penalties.

Final chance to make an IRA Contribution
If your retirement account hasn’t been fully funded today this is your last chance. We highly recommend contributing to a Roth IRA or traditional whether deductible or not. If you have a Keogh or SEP you may file an extension to October 15.

3rd Quarter Estimated Tax Payment Due
Folks who are self-employed and/or have other third-quarter income that requires a quarterly estimated tax payment, need to make sure their payment is postmarked by the September 15 tax deadline to avoid penalties.

October 15

Extended Individual Tax Returns Due
Folks who got a filing extension on your tax return need to get it completed and postmarked by October 15.
